ending slavery. restoring lives. a pieceful movement of many voices

I have been on a hunt today for clothing companies who practice fair treatment and fair wages for their employees. Does any one know of which companies I should and should not support? I have found a lot of information, but want to educate myself the best I can! Thanks! :)

Hi.  Checkout out our organization, Nomi Network.  We are a relatively new anti-trafficking organization.  Our major project is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia where we provide job training and jobs for women who have been rescued from brothels as well as for women at risk.  We employ them in garment manufacturing, under fair trade standards, making women's hand bags.  Our website for selling the bags is www.buyherbagnotherbody.com -- Buy Her Bag Not Her Body.  Every dollar of profit is re-invested anti-trafficking efforts. Our organization's general website is www.nominetwork.org

Hey!  I have a list on my website here:  http://thoughtfulconsumer.weebly.com/shops.html I've been doing a lot of research on fair trade buying recently.  Hope this helps!
