I keep hearing about immigrants being enslaved as hotel room cleaners in the US. Does anyone know, is this typically in small, lower end motels, larger corporations, or all? Is there anyway to keep an eye out for this when staying in hotels? I just hate thinking that when I am staying at a hotel, that someone is being forced to clean up after me for little to no wages.

We have been doing some work in the hotel industry. Its mostly small motels that contract out their cleaning. Its usually not the motel owners but the contractors that have been caught using slave labor. It exists but like most forms of slavery its a small percentage of workers that are impacted
